Do I Qualify for Daycare for my Foster Placement(s)?
Review the KVC Daycare Policies below to determine if your family will qualify for paid daycare for your foster placements. There can be exceptions made, however those exceptions MUST be approved by KVC directors and are for cases with extenuating circumstances.

How to fill out forms...
These two forms must be completed by the family prior to enrolling the child in daycare and sent to KVC Accounting via mail or emailed to accountspayable@kvc.org. KVC will then generate an approval letter that gets sent to both the foster family and the daycare stating that they will pay for the child to attend daycare. This CAN happen within a 24hour period if needed, but usually takes 2-3 days to process.
KVC Employment Verification for Daycare

This form must be completed by the foster parent at the child care facility daily. This form is signed and mailed back to KVC by the child care facility so that they receive their monthly reimbursement from KVC.
Which providers are available?
Each area will have a different sent of providers. Childcareaware.org has a 24-hour daycare search available that will list providers in your area based on search criteria. The FPAB will also attempt to provide some providers on this page in the future that foster families in the area have used.
How much does KVC Pay?
KVC Pays the same rate as DCF pays to daycare. If you find a daycare that accepts full DCF payment then the amount KVC pays to the daycare should cover the cost of tuition. If there is a difference between the DCF accepted rate and the rate the center charges the foster family is responsible for paying the difference.
KidsPark & KVC
KidsPark is a Drop-In first-come-first-serve hourly child care center located in Olathe. Short-term kids or kids that are spending the night in the office can utilize KidsPark with prior authorization obtained from KVC in lieu of transpiration or a worker picking them up from a foster home in the morning when doing overnights.
