Who are we?
A board of foster parents elected each year by other KVC foster families. The board works with KVC to improve and resolve issues surrounding KVC foster care. Our goal is to provide continued training and support to the foster families that are licensed through KVC. The KVC FPAB provides support to families in Johnson County, Wyandotte County, Leavenworth County, Douglas County, Miami County, and Franklin County.

Additional Info: The first hour of each meeting is dedicated to working on quarter goals to help support local foster families. The second hour of each meeting, the FPAB invites guest speakers to provide behavioral strategies, give insight into the foster care system, and more! You will earn one face-to-face training hour by attending the meeting in person or virtually.
